Refund Policy
This Policy explains when a DeepSearch charge can be canceled, refunded, corrected, or reviewed, and which payment provider must handle the request.
Last updated September 1, 2026
Scope and mandatory consumer rights
This Refund Policy applies to consumer purchases from RELOAD TECHNOLOGIES - FZCO through the DeepSearch website unless a checkout, promotion, enterprise order, app store, or mandatory law states a different rule. It should be read with the Terms of Service.
Nothing here excludes a statutory right, legal guarantee, remedy for a defective or misdescribed digital service, or other protection that cannot be waived. If local law gives you a more favorable cancellation, withdrawal, refund, repair, repeat-performance, or price-reduction right, that law controls.
Price and renewal information at checkout
The purchase screen or app store states the amount charged now, currency, included use, introductory or trial period, billing interval, next renewal amount, renewal timing, and how to cancel. Review that information before confirming. A low-cost introductory period is a paid offer unless expressly labeled free.
Taxes, bank fees, wallet fees, and currency conversion can affect the final amount shown by your issuer. A transaction receipt or app-store record identifies the payment channel and is the best reference for a billing request.
Recurring subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not normally reverse a billing period that has already started. Unless the checkout or mandatory law says otherwise, you keep access through the end of the paid period.
We do not normally issue a refund merely because you forgot to cancel, did not use the Service, did not find a desired person or result, selected the wrong plan, or no longer need the subscription. Search coverage and results are not guaranteed. We will nevertheless review hardship, misleading display, material service failure, or other exceptional circumstances fairly.
Trials and introductory offers
A trial or introductory offer converts to the plan and price shown at checkout unless canceled before the displayed deadline. Cancel sufficiently early for the payment provider to process the request. Deleting the app, signing out, removing a payment method, or deleting an account is not a reliable substitute for canceling through the billing channel.
If the renewal price, date, or recurring nature was not presented correctly, or you canceled on time but were charged, send the confirmation or relevant screenshot and we will investigate. An approved erroneous renewal is refunded in full.
How to cancel
- Web purchase: use the subscription or billing controls in your account. If the control is unavailable, email support before renewal.
- Apple App Store: cancel in the Apple subscription settings. Apple controls the billing relationship and its effective cancellation time.
- Google Play: cancel in Google Play subscription settings. Google controls the billing relationship and its effective cancellation time.
- PayPal billing agreement: cancel through the DeepSearch billing controls or the applicable PayPal automatic-payment setting.
Keep the cancellation confirmation. If the interface failed, email support@deepsearch.app with a timestamp before the renewal. We can cancel a web subscription when verified, but cannot directly override every app-store account action.
Web purchase review window
For a web charge processed by us through Stripe or PayPal, contact us within 14 days of the charge if it was duplicate, the wrong amount, made after a timely cancellation, unauthorized, or affected by a material technical failure that prevented the purchased Service from being delivered. Explain the issue and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate or restore service.
The 14-day contact window is our standard review window, not a replacement for a longer mandatory right. A request outside it may still be approved when law requires, we caused the delay, fraud or security is involved, or fairness reasonably calls for a remedy. Approval may be a full refund, pro-rated refund, credit restoration, re-performance, extension, or another legally adequate remedy depending on the problem.
Statutory withdrawal rights
Some consumers have a right to withdraw from a distance contract within a defined period, commonly 14 days. If that right applies, you may exercise it by clearly telling us you want to withdraw. You do not need to use special wording, but include the account email, order, purchase date, and country of residence.
For digital content or a service that begins immediately, the law may permit performance during the withdrawal period only after a specific request or consent. Depending on the law and disclosures at checkout, you may owe a proportionate amount for service already supplied, or the withdrawal right may end after full performance if the required consent and acknowledgment were validly obtained. We rely on those exceptions only when their legal conditions were satisfied; otherwise the statutory right remains available.
Extra credits and metered work
Extra-credit packs are one-time purchases and currently do not expire. If none of a purchased pack has been used, you may request a web refund within 14 days. Once any credit from that pack has funded a search, report, API call, enrichment, or third-party provider execution, the pack is normally non-refundable because the metered service has begun.
A search can consume a credit even if it returns no useful match, because search and provider work was performed. We restore a credit when our records show the billable operation failed before meaningful execution, was charged twice, or was not delivered due to our technical error. Promotional, bonus, reversed-payment, or fraud-linked credits have no cash value.
Data Cleanup purchases
Data Cleanup is a one-time, time-limited removal campaign, currently up to 90 days. You may request a full refund before we create the provider-side case, begin the initial scan, or submit a removal request. After provider execution begins, the service is normally non-refundable because identity matching, broker scanning, and removal work have been commissioned.
A broker's rejection, delay, verification demand, lawful refusal, or later republication is not by itself a service failure; removal is not guaranteed. If we cannot begin or materially perform the campaign for reasons within our control, we will offer re-performance, an extension, an appropriate pro-rated or full refund, or another remedy required by law. If inaccurate customer details prevented matching, we may first offer a correction and restart rather than a refund.
Apple and Google purchases
Apple and Google act as merchant or payment provider for purchases made through their stores. Their refund systems, evidence requirements, deadlines, and decisions apply, and DeepSearch cannot issue a refund directly to an app-store payment method. Request the refund from the store account that made the purchase.
We can provide product or entitlement information to help investigate, but the store makes the payment decision. If the store directs you back to us, send the order identifier and its response to support. Mandatory rights against DeepSearch remain available to the extent applicable even when a store processes payment.
Duplicate or unauthorized charges
If two materially identical charges appear for the same entitlement, contact us promptly and we will refund the confirmed duplicate. A pending authorization is not always a completed charge and may disappear automatically. Provide the date, amount, currency, last four digits or wallet type, and transaction identifier; never send a full card number or security code.
For a charge you did not authorize, secure the account and payment method, change relevant credentials, and contact both us and the issuer. We may suspend access, preserve security records, and request proportionate verification while investigating. A family member, shared device, or forgotten subscription is not automatically payment fraud, but we will assess the facts fairly.
Refund method and processing time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and currency unless law or the provider requires another method. We do not send a refund to a different card, bank account, wallet, or person. Taxes are refunded when and to the extent the transaction and tax rules allow; issuer and conversion fees may be outside our control.
We aim to decide a complete web request within 5 business days. After approval, Stripe, PayPal, a card network, bank, Apple, or Google may take additional days to post the funds. We will provide confirmation, but cannot accelerate an issuer's settlement process.
Chargebacks and unresolved disputes
Contact us first when practical; many issues can be corrected faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback may cause the payment provider to freeze the transaction and can prevent us from issuing a parallel refund. We may suspend the associated entitlement while a payment is reversed or disputed.
We will submit accurate records to the provider and will not penalize a good-faith consumer complaint. Fraudulent, abusive, or repeated chargebacks may result in account restriction and recovery of service or promotional value, subject to applicable law.
How to request a refund or remedy
Email support@deepsearch.app from the account email when possible. Include the account email, transaction or order identifier, date, amount, currency, payment channel, requested remedy, and a concise explanation. Attach a redacted receipt or cancellation confirmation if useful. Do not send a full payment-card number, password, or unnecessary identity document.
If we deny the request, we will explain the main reason. You may ask for a second review by replying with "Refund appeal" and any missing evidence. Consumers may also use the complaint or dispute channel available under applicable law. Account deletion does not erase an open refund, tax, fraud, or payment-dispute record.
Policy changes
We may update this Policy prospectively when products, payment channels, or law changes. The policy in effect at the time of purchase generally governs that purchase unless a later version is more favorable or mandatory law requires a different result. Material changes will be posted with an updated date and any additional notice required by law.
