Terms of Service

By accessing or using the websites, mobile applications, APIs, search and research tools, Data Cleanup service, or another product that links to these Terms (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any organization you validly represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cookie Policy are incorporated where relevant. An order page, app-store listing, enterprise order, API schedule, promotion, or product-specific notice may add terms. If a direct conflict exists, the more specific signed or checkout term controls for that product, while mandatory law always controls over a contractual waiver that is not legally permitted.

You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering a contract. You may not use the Service if you are prohibited by law, subject to sanctions that make the Service unlawful, or previously suspended for serious misuse unless we give written permission.

If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, that the organization is responsible for its users, and that "you" includes both you and the organization. Data Cleanup is for an adult acting for themselves unless we expressly support and verify a legally authorized representative workflow.

DeepSearch provides research and discovery features that may accept a name, username, phone number, email address, company, vehicle identification number, image, document, URL, media file, or free-form prompt. Features can search public or licensed sources, rank possible candidates, create reports, summarize material with AI, monitor selected changes, store work, expose developer APIs, or help a customer submit authorized data-broker removal requests.

Features, sources, geographic coverage, limits, models, plans, and interfaces can change. A feature described on a marketing page may be beta, staged, unavailable in a country, subject to a separate allowance, or dependent on a third-party source. We do not promise that every source will return a result or that a result will include every category of information.

Give accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account, workspace, shared link, API key, and connected identity. Keep credentials confidential, use reasonable security controls, and promptly tell us at support@deepsearch.app if you suspect compromise. You may not share, rent, sell, or transfer an account or evade account, trial, regional, safety, payment, or usage limits.

We may require email confirmation, reauthentication, payment verification, or other proportionate checks. You remain responsible for configuring workspace access, revoking former users, protecting exported reports, and ensuring your personnel follow these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit. You grant us and our contracted providers a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited license to host, reproduce, transmit, transform, analyze, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service, enforce these Terms, and comply with law. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to backups, legal retention, and material already sent to a third party at your request.

You represent that you have the rights, authority, notices, and lawful basis needed to submit the content and instruct the processing. Do not upload malware, unlawfully obtained data, confidential material you are not permitted to disclose, intimate imagery without valid consent, credentials, government identifiers, precise live location, or unnecessary sensitive personal data.

You are responsible for reviewing uploads for hidden metadata and for the prompts, filters, target selection, use, sharing, and export of results. We may remove content or restrict a workflow that creates legal, security, privacy, or safety risk.

Results may combine public websites, public records, public social profiles, news, licensed indexes, telecom metadata, commercial data suppliers, source links, and generated inferences. We do not control the completeness, legality, availability, or accuracy of an independent source. A link does not endorse the source, and a source may change or remove information without telling us.

Public information can still be personal data and can still be wrong. Names can be shared, accounts can be impersonated, phone numbers can be recycled, images can be altered, and records can be stale. A match score, entity link, or association means only that the system found signals consistent with a candidate. It is not identity verification, a factual finding, a criminal record certification, or a statement of character.

Verify important information at the original source and, where appropriate, directly with the person concerned. Do not confront, publish about, accuse, or take action against someone based only on a DeepSearch result.

AI features may generate search variants, rank candidates, extract text, summarize sources, translate content, or answer a prompt. Outputs are probabilistic and may fabricate, omit, misattribute, or overstate information. They are provided for research assistance, not as professional, legal, financial, medical, safety, or investigative advice.

You must apply independent judgment, review cited sources, and use a qualified professional when appropriate. You must not represent generated output as verified by DeepSearch. Model and provider selection can change, and an AI provider may process the relevant prompt, file, retrieved context, and technical information needed to produce the response.

You may use the Service only for a lawful purpose and in a way that respects the rights and safety of others. You must not use it to:

• stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, shame, dox, exploit, or facilitate violence;
• identify or target a victim, witness, protected person, survivor, minor, or vulnerable person;
• commit fraud, identity theft, phishing, impersonation, account takeover, extortion, or credential abuse;
• discover or expose private accounts, private messages, passwords, authentication secrets, precise live location, or non-public carrier subscriber data;
• create unlawful surveillance, facial-recognition, biometric-identification, or tracking systems;
• discriminate, profile unlawfully, or make a decision that produces an unlawful or materially unfair effect;
• violate data protection, communications, computer misuse, sanctions, export, intellectual property, or public-record laws;
• submit a removal request for someone else without legal authority or falsely claim an identity, relationship, or authorization;
• scrape, crawl, index, download, aggregate, republish, resell, or build a competing database from the Service except through an authorized API and written plan;
• reverse engineer, probe, bypass, disable, overload, disrupt, or evade technical, safety, access, rate, geographic, or payment controls;
• use automated agents beyond documented interfaces or conceal the true origin, volume, or purpose of requests; or
• help another person do anything prohibited by these Terms.

Research about a person is context-sensitive. A use that is lawful in one jurisdiction or relationship can be unlawful in another. You, not DeepSearch, are responsible for the purpose, permissions, notices, and consequences of your use.

DeepSearch is not a consumer reporting agency and the Service is not designed, compiled, verified, or offered as a consumer report under the United States Fair Credit Reporting Act or a similar screening law. You must not use the Service, in whole or in part, to determine a person's eligibility, selection, or terms for employment, credit, insurance, housing or tenancy, education, government benefits, licensing, or another purpose regulated as a consumer report or background check.

You also must not use results for an adverse action, tenant or employee screening, debt collection outside a lawful process, or a high-impact decision. Adding another source or obtaining a person's consent does not convert DeepSearch into a compliant screening product. If you need a regulated report, use a properly authorized provider and follow all notice, authorization, accuracy, dispute, and adverse-action requirements.

If information relates to you, you may ask us to suppress the DeepSearch page or result through Remove my info. Account deletion is different: it removes a customer account and product history but does not necessarily identify or suppress a public result about that customer.

We may review a request for abuse, ambiguity, public-interest context, legal duties, or conflicts with another person's rights. A suppression record may be kept to prevent republication and document the decision. We cannot remove a source record, search-engine cache, or independent third-party copy through this process.

Data Cleanup is a one-time campaign scheduled to run for the period shown at checkout, currently up to 90 days. By ordering it, you confirm that you are an adult, the identity details belong to you, they are accurate, and you authorize DeepSearch and its contracted removal provider to use them to search participating brokers and submit opt-out or deletion requests in your name.

You authorize the disclosure of necessary identifiers to the provider and each receiving broker, and authorize routine communications needed to complete the requests. Promptly complete any verification or action that a broker requires. We may pause or close a campaign if the information is insufficient, misleading, unauthorized, unsafe, or likely to affect a different person.

We promise the service effort, not a particular removal outcome. Coverage changes; a broker can reject, delay, require direct action, apply a legal exception, or later republish data obtained upstream. Data Cleanup does not repair public records, erase news, remove social accounts, clear search-engine caches, or monitor every broker forever. A later subscription or campaign may be required for continued monitoring if offered.

Paid plans may be recurring. Before purchase, the checkout or app store shows the price, currency, introductory or trial period, included usage, billing interval, renewal amount, and the method for cancellation. By confirming, you authorize the stated payment provider to charge the payment method at purchase and each renewal until cancellation.

A low-cost introductory period is still a paid offer unless it is expressly described as free. If you do not cancel before the displayed renewal time, the plan renews at the displayed rate. Renewal timing can be affected by the payment provider's timezone and processing rules, so cancel in advance. Taxes and currency conversion may be added by the provider or issuer.

We may change a recurring price or plan prospectively with the notice and consent required by law or the payment channel. A material price change does not apply retroactively. If you do not accept a change, cancel before it takes effect.

A search, report, enrichment, API request, or provider action may use an allowance or credit. The applicable interface explains the unit before purchase or use where practical. A credit is a limited contractual right to request an eligible Service operation; it is not money, stored value, a bank balance, or transferable property, and it earns no interest.

Purchased extra-credit packs do not expire under the current product policy unless a promotion or order clearly states otherwise. Plan-included allowances may reset rather than roll over. We may reverse credits issued by mistake, refund credits for a failed operation, or block usage tied to fraud, a dispute, chargeback, or prohibited activity. Provider execution can consume a credit even when a search returns no useful match because the requested work was performed.

Web purchases may be processed by Stripe or PayPal. Mobile purchases may be processed by Apple or Google. The payment channel's terms govern payment credentials, processing, app-store billing, and its own refund workflow. We may receive transaction identifiers and entitlement status but not the full card number.

You are responsible for applicable taxes, issuer fees, and accurate billing information except for taxes we are legally required to collect and remit. Failed, reversed, or disputed payments may result in suspension, cancellation, recovery of promotional value, or restriction of associated accounts. Contact support before filing a chargeback so we can investigate a billing problem.

You may cancel a web subscription through the available billing controls. Apple and Google subscriptions must generally be canceled in the corresponding app-store account. Unless the checkout or mandatory law says otherwise, cancellation stops future renewal and access continues through the paid period; it does not automatically refund a completed charge or delete the account.

Refunds, duplicate charges, service failures, credit packs, Data Cleanup, and statutory withdrawal rights are governed by the Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms excludes a non-waivable consumer remedy.

API access is subject to documented authentication, rate, feature, data-use, security, and plan limits. Keep API keys secret, rotate a compromised key, use reasonable caching and deletion controls, and do not expose a key in client-side code. You are responsible for your application, end users, notices, consents, output review, and compliance.

You may not use the API to build a regulated screening product, bulk people database, surveillance system, or substitute for DeepSearch; combine it with unlawfully obtained data; or remove source attribution or safety notices. We may monitor API metadata, throttle traffic, revoke a key, or require a security review to protect the Service and data subjects.

The Service, software, interfaces, design, compilation, ranking, documentation, branding, and our original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property and other laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal or internal-business, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during the applicable access period.

This license does not transfer ownership of source material or permit copying, reselling, sublicensing, model training, benchmarking for publication, reverse engineering, or creation of derivative datasets except where a non-waivable law expressly permits it. If you give feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or payment, but we will not identify you publicly as its author without permission.

The Service depends on independent hosting, AI, search, data, payment, app-store, communications, and source providers. Their availability, content, privacy practices, and terms are outside our control. Your direct use of a linked site, app store, payment wallet, or source is governed by that party.

We may replace, suspend, or remove a provider or source. We are not responsible for a third party's independent act, outage, change, removal decision, or content, but this sentence does not limit responsibility that mandatory law places on us for selecting or supervising a processor.

Beta, preview, experimental, or free features may be incomplete, change without notice, produce unexpected results, or be discontinued. Do not rely on them for production, safety-critical, or irreversible use. We may add, modify, limit, or discontinue a feature or source to improve quality, comply with law, manage costs, respond to provider changes, or protect people and systems.

If a change materially removes a paid core feature during a prepaid term, contact us for an appropriate remedy, which may include a workaround, credit, pro-rated refund, or cancellation as required by the contract and law.

You may stop using the Service, cancel renewal, and request account deletion. We may investigate, restrict, suspend, or terminate access when we reasonably believe there is misuse, risk to a person or system, a legal violation, unpaid charges, a security incident, a sanctions issue, repeated source abuse, or a material breach. We may act immediately where delay could cause harm and give notice and an appeal path when reasonably possible.

On termination, your license ends and you must stop using the Service. Sections that by nature should survive, including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, dispute terms, and lawful retention, remain effective. Termination does not require us to erase records that must be kept, undo a completed provider action, or issue a refund not available under the Refund Policy or mandatory law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that a result identifies the right person, is current or complete, that an AI output is factual, that a source is lawful or available, or that Data Cleanup will remove any particular record permanently.

Some jurisdictions do not allow particular disclaimers. In that case, the disclaimer applies only to the extent allowed, and any mandatory statutory guarantee remains in force.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither DeepSearch nor its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, or licensors will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunities, or business interruption, arising from the Service, a source, output, removal result, or these Terms, even if advised that such damage was possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit is cumulative, not per claim.

Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence where non-waivable, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. The allocation of risk in this section is reflected in the price and is an essential basis of the agreement.

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DeepSearch and its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors from a third-party claim, damage, penalty, and reasonable cost arising from your unlawful or prohibited use, your content or instructions, your violation of another person's rights, or your material breach of these Terms. This does not require a consumer to indemnify us for our own breach, negligence, or conduct for which indemnity cannot lawfully be required.

We will give reasonable notice and allow you to participate in the defense. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault by us, imposes an obligation on us, or affects another person's rights without our written consent.

Before filing a claim, contact support@deepsearch.app with a concise description and requested resolution. We will try in good faith to resolve the issue promptly. This informal step does not shorten a legal limitation period or prevent urgent injunctive relief.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where applicable, the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction, except that an individual consumer may bring a claim in another forum when mandatory consumer law gives that right. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent needed and the rest remains effective. A failure to enforce is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms or an account without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, sale, or transfer of the Service, subject to mandatory notice rights. These Terms do not create a partnership, employment, agency, fiduciary, or third-party-beneficiary relationship.

Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, except for payment obligations and duties that law does not allow to be excused. Headings are for convenience. "Including" means including without limitation. Electronic notices and records satisfy writing requirements where permitted. Translations are for convenience; the English version controls to the extent mandatory law permits.

We may update these Terms to reflect a new feature, risk, provider, business model, or legal requirement. We will post the revised version with a new date and give additional notice before a material change takes effect where required. A change will not retroactively reduce a right already earned or rewrite a dispute without a lawful basis. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the Service and cancel renewal.
